Everyday Care

Each order includes an IZABEL microfiber jewelry care cloth for the gentle cleaning and care of your pieces. Gently wipe your jewelry with the jewelry care cloth to remove fingerprints, oils, and everyday residue.

For a Deeper Clean

Most fine jewelry featuring durable gemstones, such as diamonds, sapphires, and rubies, can be safely cleaned at home using mild dish soap and lukewarm water.

• Mix lukewarm water with 2–3 drops of mild dish soap.
• Allow your jewelry to soak for 10–15 minutes to loosen everyday oils and residue.
• Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, gently clean around the setting and stones.
• Rinse thoroughly in a separate bowl of clean, lukewarm water. Avoid rinsing directly over an open sink.
• Gently pat dry using the IZABEL care cloth.

Important Care Considerations

Pearls, opals, turquoise, and other delicate or porous gemstones should never be soaked. Instead, gently clean them with a slightly damp, soft brush, then gently wipe dry using the IZABEL care cloth.

Closed-back settings should not be submerged, as moisture can become trapped behind the stones.

Our demi-fine collection features pieces made from high-quality sterling silver, finished with precious metal plating. White-finish pieces are plated with rhodium or platinum, while yellow- and rose-gold finishes feature 14k or 18k gold plating.

To preserve the finish and extend the life of your jewelry, avoid prolonged exposure to water, humidity, cosmetics, and harsh chemicals. We recommend removing your jewelry before washing your hands or showering, and putting it on as the final step in your makeup and skincare routine.

Everyday Care

Gently wipe your jewelry with the IZABEL microfiber jewelry care cloth to remove fingerprints, oils, and surface residue. Avoid excessive rubbing or pressure, as this may gradually wear down the plated finish.

Unlike solid gold, plated jewelry requires additional care to preserve its finish. Avoid abrasive polishing cloths, silver-cleaning solutions, baking soda, and other chemical cleaning methods, as these can damage or remove the plating.

Each order includes an anti-tarnish strip to help protect your jewelry against oxidation. For best results, store your pieces in their original IZABEL box with a strip inside, replacing it every one to three months.
