IZABEL is a San Francisco-based brand specializing in fine jewelry and bespoke designs. The company was founded by Gözde Başar, who drew inspiration for the brand from her experience in the fine jewelry industry, love for creative expression, and her childhood in Istanbul where jewelry, for many generations, has been a symbol of identity, status and protection for women.

Gözde also brings a passion for jewelry backed by years of industry experience. She spent some time in a manufacturing firm, where she worked closely with customers to create bespoke designs. Her journey also led her to Milan, Italy, where she studied jewelry design at Istituto Marangoni, deepening her expertise in the craft’s artistry and innovation. This blend of hands-on knowledge and creative exploration drives Gözde's vision to building something meaningful—jewelry that doesn’t just shine, but sustains.

Since childhood, jewelry has been a symbol of self-expression for Gözde, which gave her a sense of independence and power. She hopes her brand can have the same affect on consumers, one Izabel piece at a time.
